St. Petersburg will bring together the leaders of gas industry
The 5th St. Petersburg International Gas Forum – the largest specialized convention and exhibition event in the oil and gas industry – will take place on 6–9 October 2015.
Business programme of the Forum is traditionally presented by the International Congress of Oil and Gas Industry Professionals. Particular attention of discussions will be drawn to the issues of international energy cooperation, key domestic and international infrastructure projects, global trends and public policies in the gas industry, use of gas as a motor fuel. Exhibition programme includes International Specialised Exhibition «INGAS STREAM 2015 – INNOVATIONS IN THE GAS INDUSTRY», International Specialised Exhibition «GAS ENGINE FUEL», «ROS-GAZ-EXPO».
Forum is supported by Russian federal and regional authorities – Ministry of energy of the Russian Federation, Ministry of industry and trade of the Russian Federation, Ministry of transport of the Russian Federation, Analytical Center for the Government of the Russian Federation, Administration of St. Petersburg, Russian and foreign industry associations including NGV Italy, Russian Gas Society, Equipment Manufacturers Association «New Technologies in Gas Industry», National Association of oil and gas service.

The St. International Gas Forum dates back from 2011. The principal objective of the Forum is to provide a platform for substantive dialogue between leaders of gas industry. The Forum is by rights a unique gas industry event in Russia: besides an extensive exhibition programme, every year the Forum provides a convention program that ensures substantive discussion of the most acute and pressing issues.
In 2014 SPIGF entered a new stage of development: the project «St. Petersburg International Gas Forum» took the third place in the Russian National Exhibition Rating among oil and gas industry enterprises by the parameters «Exhibition area» and «Market coverage». SPIGF also received the UFI approved event mark and quality certificate of the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs. SPIGF-2014 exhibition programme drew a total of 7 000 visitors. International expositions «InGasStream – innovations in the gas industry» and «Gas engine fuel» allowed over 400 exhibitors to come together and show their achievements on more than 25 thousand square meters of floor space. SPIGF-2014 business programme was attended by over 1500 delegates from 25 countries.
